Overview¶
Exosys ControlGuard vX is a virtual platform that delivers high-performance URL filtering, Network Access Control (NAC), Threats Mitigation and more. It is part of a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity solutions developed by Exosys.
It provides fine-grained control and inspection of web traffic using access control lists (ACLs) and extensible policies. The vX edition includes a standalone virtual appliance that can be remotely managed and deployed on any commodity x86 hardware. Additionally, the ControlGuard solution can provide advanced features, such as AI-driven detection and analysis, as well as real-time threat detection and mitigation.
Addressed Challenges¶
In modern computing environments, the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)—and its secure variant, HTTPS—accounts for the vast majority of network traffic. Without visibility and control over this traffic, infrastructure and endpoints, remain exposed to threats such as phishing, data exfiltration, malwares and covert command and control (C2) communications.
With ControlGuard vX you can centrally enforce and manage web traffic to ensure that only necessary resources are accessed, thereby significantly reducing your security exposure.
