Status¶

To verify the proper operation of ControlGuard vX, it is recommended to use the control utility. This utility program communicates with the engine via an authenticated and secured RESTFUL Application Programming Interface (API).

Connectors Status¶

A primary check involves confirming that the engine and its subsystems are operating correctly and are in the UP state. This can be verified by executing the following command:

cgutils controlguard show-status

The second critical verification step is to ensure all connectors are successfully connected to the engine. To perform this check, use the command:

cgutils controlguard show-neighbor-summary

Executing the command above will generate a list of neighbor sessions. To confirm that the connectors are establishing stable connections to the engine, monitor the State and Connected Since columns for UP/ACTIVE states and for consistently increasing uptimes counts respectively.
